Can`t Import Video Frames To Layers [Dec 26 2009 / 4:54pm] icon_tutorial [brunetteheart]  I want to make a GIF out of a video but when I go to File > Import > Video Frames To Layers and select my video, this is what appears: It`s just white and the video doesn`t apper. The format of the video is .AVI if that`s any help. But when I try other videos in the same format, the video appears.  *To get the video, I captured it using KM Player because the whole video was too long. ( It`s a movie. ) How do I fix this? Help please? [Dec 26 2009 / 5:06pm] icon_tutorial [tellemonstar] I have very recently had to re-install Vista on my laptop and lost all my icon psds/etc. So I am trying to work out how I got the colouring on the following icons. I know the colouring came from a tutorial, and it consisted of three selective colouring layers (the same one, duplicated twice) but after searching my tutorial memories, I can't find it. I used the same colouring on all three icons. ETA - the selective colouring layers brightened the image as well as giving it the colouring, if that helps. comment?

PowerDVD capping issue [Dec 24 2009 / 10:13pm] icon_tutorial [that_was_cheesy] I've been capping DVDs with Cyberlink PowerDVD 8 for over half a year, but now I'd like to cap video clips (stored on my hard drive), and the only thing that is saved when I press the cap button is a 0-byte blank file. Does PowerDVD only cap DVDs, or is it possible to cap files as well? (Note: I just tried to cap from a DVD and it worked, so my program IS working.) Thanks, and happy holidays! =) 3 comment?

Specific Effect Question [Dec 21 2009 / 1:04pm] icon_tutorial [hiddengrace] I have checked the archive and didn't see anything close to this, so I hope someone can help me. I use Photoshop CS4.I've been seeing a certain effect around the graphics circuit and I'm not sure how it's done. (made by pinkcupcake Is it a special brush that is only of the outline, or is it the actual picture that has been edited to look like that? I have seen this style done with so many types of images. I know there are bevel and emboss effects and all that on it, but the general outlined picture is what I'm trying to figure out. Can someone show me how it's done? Thank you in advance! 1 comment?
